It was a warm day. Spring was coaxing winter to release its icy grip on Southwest Colorado. It was the kind of day to shrug off cabin fever and take homeschool on the road! We headed to the park where we learned a new vocabulary word – inundated! Those greedy ducks and geese reinforced the meaning better than any written activity ever could.
That’s the beauty of homeschool – learning happens everywhere. Different experiences and locations bring a depth to learning as nothing else can.
