MikkiMikki Hogan, along with her husband John, are the Web masters and authors of Unique Parenting and the proud parents of 8 children.
Her unique approach to parenting developed from a sudden and immediate need to make their family work together out of love and respect for one another. Mikki and John accomplished this through what most would call impossible odds.
Mikki is a mother of 8. She had her first daughter at the age of 16. By the age of 17 she met her husband and father of 3 sons and 1 daughter. At 19 she had her second daughter, making her the mother of 6 in less than 4 years.
Mikki says: "By the age of 25 I was part of a family of 10 and found myself facing the world from a whole new position. Life was no longer all about me and my happiness. All of my choices now affected these young lives that I had found myself responsible for."
In my determination to succeed as a parent I sought advice from all over. I read countless books, watched dozens of shows, listened to talk radio and asked the experts directly. While some of this knowledge was invaluable, I discovered that the real solution to strong families and moral children was to be found somewhere else.
I believe my experiences can help many families filter through the unlimited supply of "parenting resources" available on the market by encouraging parents as they prepare for the wonderful challenge of raising children."

Donna:
Donna Clarke is happily married for over 20 years to husband Coleman. They have three wonderful children, all of whom have thrived through the home education experience. The older two children are currently in honors programs in college. The youngest child is currently home schooling high school.
Donna offers advice, guidance, lesson plans as well as specialty curricula and private instruction to students in the homeschooling community, as well as public and private school students.
Donna is Director of Heaven’s Gift Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, a 501 (C) (3) non-profit animal hospice that affords 24/7 care to animals unadoptable to the community due to severe abuse and/or neglect.
She is also a lecturer on subjects pertaining to education as well as animal cruelty.
