North West Georgia Home Educators
We were established to provide support for all new and veteran home educators that have adopted a Charlotte Mason approach. Members vary from being partial users of Charlotte Mason's methods to being CM purest. This particular group was founded so that all homeschoolers in this area can offer support and share how CM methods and philosphies are being applied in whatever teaching approach they are currently using in their own family's home education system. A sample of our activities include monthly support group meetings to discuss CM topics and complete CM book studies; group nature study walks; art & music appreciation studies; field trips and monthly e-newsletters. The success of this group can be attributed directly to the efforts given by our volunteers. MEMBERS MUST BE INTERNET ACTIVE. This e-loop website was established so members can ask & answer questions, trade & store information, post & receive reminders etc. in-between all our group events and monthly e-newsletter publications. Lurking is discouraged while active posting and sharing of resources on a regular basis is expected. This group is in Christian hands, but it is not exclusive. We have members from all walks of faith.
