Little Way Homeschool Association (LWHA)

We are a Catholic homeschool support group (though not all of our members are Catholic) with families from Union, Somerset and Morris counties. We meet most Fridays between mid-September and early May, with the first Friday of each month off. We meet at the Church of the Little Flower in Berkely Heights, New Jersey. The church is Union County, 2 miles from the border of Union/Somerset/Morris counties. We have roughly 35 families, with about 95 children ranging from newborn to high school. Our Friday program includes Art, Music, Forensics, Latin, Ballet and Flamenco dancing, Shakespeare club, writing class, Boys games, 4H, pre-school program, including trips to the local library, Geography, and a number of other classes. A number of our teachers are hired professional, including art, music, and dance. Other classes are taught by moms who have a specific interest or skill in that area. We host a number of events throughout the year, including monthly Mom's night outs, a family picnic, a couples night out, etc.
