We provide support and encouragement for area home educators. CHHEW provides a monthly newsletter, field trips, science fair, spelling bee, local graduation ceremony, membership meetings, workshops and many opportunities of fellowship for our families. Regularly scheduled events during the school year include CHHEW membership meetings which are the first Thursday of each month (meeting in the Kirk room of the Wilmington Public Library) and roller-skating on the third Wednesday of each month.
