CHEBA - Christian Home Educators of the Blythe Area - CA
Independent Support Group; member of CHEA of CA and AFHEArea: Blythe is located in Riverside County, on I-10 at the CA/AZ border. CHEBA serves private home educators within a 40 mile radius from Blythe, including families in Arizona.
Our purpose is to provide support and encouragement for families who educate their children at home. We are a Christian group, with Christian leadership, but are open to all private (not public-school-affiliated) home educators. We desire to edify and strengthen relationships for our families and children through sharing current information and resources, as well as engaging in group activities related to home education. Our key verse is Ecclesiastes 4:9-12.
Provides: Newsletter, group classes, parent workshops, field trips, annual events and social activities.
Meetings: Weekly - Tuesdays for interest-based clubs and classes, occasionally for workshops and special events.
Size: Varies yearly between 20-30 families
Dues: $20 per year, plus insurance fee/student. Some classes may have fees.
