Bryson City Area Home Educators

We are located in Swain County North Carolina, but have members from neighboring Jackson County as well. We are a Christian group, but are open to all persons regardless of religion. We do, however, operate on Biblical Principles and therefore reserve the right to deny membership to people who choose not to live lifestyles that are consistent with aforementioned principles. Our group's purpose is to provide fellowship and support for other area home schoolers, children as well as parents. We offer field trips, monthly craft and science meetings, an active youth group, annual testing, monthly newsletter, an annual picnic and yearly open informational meeting. Our group was formed in 1995 and has grown steadily since it's inception.
